Stock Photo - 09 June 2020, Saxony, Görlitz: The parish church of St. Peter and Paul framed by residential buildings. It is probably the oldest church in the town, which originated from an early castle church of the 11th century. The building, also called Peterskirche, was rebuilt in the Gothic period from 1423 onwards into a mighty five-aisled hall church. The Görlitz Peterskirche is the largest and oldest church of this type in Saxony and became the model for all later facilities. Photo: Sebastian Kahnert/dpa-Zentralbild/ZB. - Görlitz/Saxony/Germany
