Stock Photo - 09 October 2020, Brandenburg: One of the more than 25 Waldmöpse stands on a meadow in the Humboldthain Park. The bronze sculptures created by the artist Clara Walter are based on an invention of the humorist Loriot, who in 1972 sketched a ""shy animal with short but powerful horns"" in his sketch ""Tierstunde - Der wilde Waldmops"" (Animal Hour - The Wild Pug). In memory of Loriot, who was born in Brandenburg, a forest pug centre was founded in 2015 in preparation for the Federal Horticultural Show. The approximately 50-centimetre high figures created by the sculptor after winning a tender were set up in various poses and at various locations around the city. A special map of the tourist office shows interested parties the woodpop areas. Photo: Soeren Stache/dpa-Zentralbild/ZB. - Brandenburg/Brandenburg/Germany
