Stock Photo - 09 September 2021, Berlin: A Spitzbunker stands next to trees in the residential area of Wünsdorf-Waldstadt. Old pointed bunkers are included in the overall complex. The buildings, known as ""concrete cigars"", were erected by the Wehrmacht and served as protection against air raids. New apartments were built on the site, which was cleared of Soviet troops in 1990. In 1998, Germany's first and to this day only book town was founded here. Due to the 100-year military history of the site, bunkers, museums and exhibitions can also be visited here. Photo: Jens Kalaene/dpa-Zentralbild/ZB. - Berlin/Berlin/Germany
