On 16 January 2018, the Forst Brandenburg State Office invites you to submit wood. Since this year there are only hardwood logs left on the square. For hardwood, it's the 29th submission. In the Landeswaldoberförsterei Chorin, valuable timber and sawn timber from the state, municipal and private forests is offered and sold to customers in Germany and abroad by written bid, with the highest bidder. We offer a total of 550 solid cubic metres of wood. The Forst Brandenburg state enterprise harvests around one million cubic metres of raw wood annually in the state forest. The valuable wood offered for tender represents only a fraction of the wood harvested annually in Brandenburg. This is used exclusively for the manufacture of high-quality products such as veneers, furniture, windows and doors. Photo: Patrick Pleul/dpa-Zentralbild/ZB. - Chorin/Brandenburg/Germany
