The symbolic act heralds the start of construction on the ""World Heritage Center."" The historic building is to be converted into a visitor information center by 2025. Due to many reconstructions in the last centuries, the inner structure of the building is hardly recognizable anymore. Through various repair and restoration measures, the original substance of the monument is to be strengthened again. The construction of the center is expected to cost around 11.4 million euros.
