With the graduation house the boiling process of the brine should be shortened, because the brine could evaporate before in the graduation house by wind and sun and so the salt content of the brine increased. Today, the building is used for open-air inhalation, as the evaporation process also enriches the surrounding air with salt. The effect is said to be similar to that of the sea.
