Stock Photo - 12 October 2022, Bavaria, Nuremberg: Demolition work is taking place inside the public swimming pool. Demolition work in the swimming pool will continue until the end of 2022. In the building, 12,000 m² of tiles and one kilometer of pipes have been removed so far. 4,000 m² of historic wall and floor surfaces and 600 steps have been protected from damage. The new pipes and technology will then be installed starting in spring 2023. The city council had approved the administration's plans in October 2020 and decided to renovate the bath and put it back into operation. The pool is scheduled to reopen in December 2024.
