The cave dwellings of Langenstein were carved into soft sandstone by migrant workers between 1855 and 1858. Ten of these dwellings have been preserved, and some are open to visitors.Around 12,000 interested people have viewed this unique testimony to early living culture individually or by guided tour in 2022.
