Stock Photo - 13 December 2021, Hessen, Frankfurt/Main: Two euro starter kits as well as a large model of a 1 DM coin are on display at Carlo-Schmid-Platz in the Bockenheim district in a glass and steel construction with an exhibition commemorating the 20th anniversary of the euro cash. The Bundesbank is commemorating the beginnings of the single currency with a travelling exhibition featuring small and large exhibits, explanatory texts and contemporary documents. The exhibits will be on show in Frankfurt until 2 January. After that, the travelling exhibition will be shown for about four weeks in Düsseldorf, Hanover, Hamburg, Berlin and Leipzig. At the turn of the year 2001/2002, the euro was introduced in notes and coins in twelve European countries.
