In an index, the country ranked 188 out of 190 countries in 2018. What does Oliver think? ""Hyperinflation is really bad right now. I play guitar in the subway. That's how I make money. But people don't have that much cash with them,"" says the 22-year-old. Oliver's already thought about emigrating. ""But I'm studying art right now. And I love my country. Even though we are in a difficult situation, I like being here,"" says the young student. So far, over 2.3 million Venezuelans have sought refuge in other countries. Oliver doesn't think about it anymore. What makes him enjoy playing street music? ""How people smile. To see you happy. Watching them dance to my music. It's good for the soul,"" says Oliver.
