Stock Photo - 13 May 2020, Brandenburg, Sauen: A white-tailed eagle chick (Haliaeetus albicilla) stands on the forest floor in the Sauener Forst. On the same day the offspring was ringed in a nest of the white-tailed eagle. The two volunteers Silvio Herold and Winfried Nachtigall from the Arbeitskreis Wanderfalkenschutz e.V. (AWS) retrieved a young white-tailed eagle chick from the nest in the top of a pine tree. The animal was measured, weighed and provided with two rings each.
