Stock Photo - 14 April 2021, Brandenburg, Beeskow: Martine Müller-Lombard, author, sits in the courtyard of Beeskow Castle. Since the beginning of January 2021, the new castle writer, Martine Müller-Lombard, has moved into Beeskow Castle. The Dresden-born author, who was selected by a jury from a good 50 applicants, has lived in France for many years. She learned about the call for entries through Mitteldeutscher Verlag, which published her debut novel ""Wir schenken uns nichts"" in 2019. In Beeskow, Martine Müller-Lombard wants to work again on her short stories, for which a French publisher from Alsace is interested. Before she leaves the Oder-Spree region again at the end of May, she also has a very personal project: ""Then I want to have bathed in all the lakes here!
