According to the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Climate and Environmental Protection Foundation, the ship was purchased by the economic business operation on 02.07.2021. The foundation's economic business operation then entered into agreements with various service providers who used the ship for rock placement and performed necessary work on the Nord Stream 2 pipeline, among other things.
