The model is one of a total of 20 touch, smelling and listening stations that enable people with disabilities to explore the exhibitions in the Natural History Museum independently. The Senckenberg Museum of Natural History in Görlitz has invested around 140,000 euros in making its exhibitions barrier-free. According to the institution on Monday, a special automatic audio guide combined with a floor guidance system makes an autonomous tour possible.
