Here, wax is applied to the areas of the egg that are not to be colored later. After coloring, the wax is removed again. In the Sorbian Cultural Center Schleife, the special exhibition ""Around the Egg - From the World Egg to Easter"" will be presented from March 04 to May 1, 2022. In this exhibition the visitor will get an insight into the world of decorated eggs around the globe. The exposition was compiled and conceived by Erhard Schwerin, former collection curator at the GRASSI Museum für Völkerkunde zu Leipzig.
