In 2006 Ulrich Busch bought two blocks of the former KdF NS property from the federal government for 455,000 Euros. Ulrich Busch was able to obtain building rights for both blocks with holiday and condominium apartments as well as hotel apartments from the municipality of Binz. Prora on Ruegen is officially termed a state-approved resort on 17 August 2018. In the medium term, the district of Binz aims to become a seaside resort.
