The motto of the owners of the Gast- und Tanzwirtschaft Kajüte, including Dorothee Schmidt-Breitung, a qualified restorer, is ""Do good and talk about it"". 24 years ago, a group of seven owners saved the Gast- und Tanzwirtschaft Kajüte in Ratzdorf from demolition and since then have invested a lot of energy, passion and joie de vivre in the project. This has enriched cultural life in the very east of Brandenburg. Here, just behind the dike at the confluence of the Oder and Neisse rivers, a place of encounter has been created over the years. Especially the local anchoring and the joint participation between the generations was and still is an aspiration that the operators of the cabin had set themselves.
