On 22 August, a total of 4000 spectators are to attend a simulated concert in the Arena Leipzig. They will wear sensors that record their contacts at one-second intervals. In addition, fluorescent disinfectants are used to make the points of contact in the hall visible. The German singer Bendzko has made himself available as an artist, the handball players of the SC DHfK Leipzig will take part in the supporting programme of the one-day experiment. The aim is to measure the spread of aerosols, the contacts and touch points of the guests. In a second step the ventilation situation of the hall will be changed.
