Stock Photo - 17 May 2023, Saxony-Anhalt, Wernigerode: Mathias Kögler from the Wernigerode Aviation Museum examines the fuselage of a Ju 52 that has recently become part of the inventory of the private aviation museum. The aircraft, built in 1939, was built in Dessau for the Swiss Army and was in continuous service until 1981. After several changes, the aircraft came to Altenrhein in 2020 - and was to be made fit again for sightseeing flights by Junkers Flugzeugwerke. This failed because the costs were too high. Now it is being rebuilt and restored in the museum. Photo: Matthias Bein/dpa. - Wernigerode/Saxony-Anhalt/Germany
