Stock Photo - 17 September 2020, Saxony-Anhalt, Förderstedt: Richly decorated finds from the Corded Ware period lie on a table at the edge of excavations before the extension of an open-cast limestone mine. The archaeologists uncovered graves, burial mounds and settlement pits from the Stone and Bronze Ages. Some of the seven Stone Age graves, some 4500 years old, had stone fixtures and grave goods such as richly decorated vessels, flint blades and pierced dog teeth.
