Recreation-seekers also love the area, which covers more than 30 hectares, for relaxing walks. The future of the harness racing track is currently unclear. In 2020, an urban development concept for the future development of the site was presented. According to this concept, harness racing and equestrian sports are to be secured at the site and an additional sports area is to be created within the grounds. Multi-story residential buildings and 44,000 square meters of commercial space are also to be built on the site. However, the plans are meeting with resistance from residents.
