Stock Photo - 18 March 2020, Saxony, Leipzig: Employees of a forwarding agency transport a prepared Atlantic Walrus to a depot of the Natural History Museum Leipzig. The walrus with a body length of 2.50 metres is a main work of the taxidermist Herman Ter Meer, who worked at the beginning of the 20th century at the Zoological Institute and Museum of the University of Leipzig. The walrus lady was shot in Greenland in 1911 and taxidermied in 1919. At the end of the 1970s it was on loan to the Meereskundemuseum Stralsund.
