Stock Photo - 18 May 2021, Saxony-Anhalt, Reppichau: After consultation with the chairman of the ""Sachsenspiegel Art Project"" sponsoring association (r-l), the painter Steffen Rogge repairs small damages to the two five and four meter tall metal sculptures ""Pope Sylvester"" (l) and ""Emperor Constantine"". For more than 20 years, the small Eike von Repgow village has been transformed into an open-air museum with several hundred representations from the first German law book. Paintings on almost 50 percent of the houses, museums and oversized, colorful metal sculptures can be found throughout the village, documenting the historical period of the first German law book. Eike von Repgow (1180-1234), who is said to have lived in the village, is regarded as the author of the ""Sachsenspiegel"".
