Five hedgehogs which have spent the winter in the hedgehog centre in Laatzen (Hannover region) have been released into the wild at the cemetery. In order to accustom the hedgehogs to their new surroundings, they are first looked after in a protective enclosure on site. Later they come to the feeding place less and less often and eventually stay away completely. Photo: Julian Stratenschulte/dpa. - Hanover/Lower Saxony/Germany
