According to his own information, he is the only German whisky producer who still distils his whisky with the labour-intensive traditional still. The 38-year-old trained chemist discovered his love for the traditional craft after many trips to Scotland and research and founded a small distillery in 2014. In addition to whiskies made from hand-picked German and Scottish malts, the young entrepreneur also produces various liqueurs, brandies and spirits, among other things.
