According to police reports, the driver of a car was driving along Berliner Straße in the direction of the town center when he lost control of his vehicle in a curve at a clearly excessive speed and crashed into several cars parked in a parking lot of a car dealership. A total of seven vehicles were damaged, some of them severely. The driver at the time of the accident got out of his vehicle and disappeared. However, he was able to be apprehended a short time later by the police in the area of a gas station. The police have taken over the investigation into the cause of the accident and the driver, as there are some inconsistencies. A blood sample was ordered.
