Stock Photo - 21 July 2021, Brandenburg, Schorfheide/Ot Finowfurt: A tailless glider of the type Fauvel AV 36C hangs from the ceiling in a shelter on the grounds of the Aviation Museum. The passenger aircraft with 76 seats was decommissioned in 1982, has been in Finowfurt since 1992 and is currently being painstakingly restored. Numerous objects can be viewed at the former military airfield of the German Air Force and, after 1945, of the Soviet Air Force. The aviation history collection has been built up over the last 25 years with the help of many contemporary witnesses, employees in temporary publicly funded projects and voluntary helpers.
