A 3.60 metre high monster made of carved and partly gilded wood stands in the workshop of restorer Eberhard Roller in Eberswalde (Barnim). While the layman hardly notices the strange piece of furniture with its round dial despite its size, the eyes of connoisseurs shine. ""This is the case of a flute clock,"" reveals the restorer.
