Only a few days after the start, the ski season in Saxony is threatened with a longer break. On the Fichtelberg, only one lift was open on the same day. If it continues to rain like this, operations will be suspended from Friday (23.12.). Precipitation and wind are putting a strain on the snow cover on the slopes. According to the German Weather Service, it will remain rainy over the Christmas days with temperatures of up to ten degrees, and even in the mountains it is expected to remain frost-free.
