Stock Photo - 22 February 2019, Brandenburg, Criewen: The village church is picturesquely embedded in the Lenne Park of Criewen not far from the Brandenburg town of Schwedt. Criewen is situated near the Polish border, directly adjacent to the Lower Oder Valley National Park. The village was first mentioned in a document in 1354 and is therefore one of the oldest Slavic fishing villages. Sights worth seeing are the castle in the Lenne Park built for Otto von Arnim and the National Park Information Centre. Since 2003, the German Foundation for the Preservation of Monuments has also been involved in the restoration of the church. On the site of today's building there was already a field stone church in the 13th/14th century. Photo: Patrick Pleul/dpa-Zentralbild/ZB. - Criewen/Brandenburg/Germany
