Stock Photo - 23 April 2020, Brandenburg, Potsdam: Behind the plinth of the Garrison Church is the portal façade of the Long Stable. The Long Stable is one of the sights of the city. The building was built under Friedrich Wilhelm I. as a riding and parade house. The half-timbered building burned down in an air raid in April 1945. The portal has been preserved and is under monumental protection. On the left is the building of the former Data Processing Centre (DVZ) of the district of Potsdam and now the Art and Creative House Computing Centre of the Stiftung Sozialpädagogisches Institut Berlin (SPI), in the middle the chapel of the Garrison Church Potsdam.
