The 26 information points in the flood area are to be operated until the end of the year. After the flood in July 2021 with 134 dead, more than 750 injured and thousands of damaged or destroyed houses in the Ahr valley, experts provided a lot of general support at the Infopoints in tents, containers and buildings. According to the district administration, however, the focus is now on tips from architects, for example on drying flood-damaged houses and on flood-adapted construction.
