Stock Photo - 24 January 2022, Lower Saxony, Brunswick: A photovoltaic (PV) system is located on the roof of the Lower Saxony Research Center for Automotive Engineering (NFF) at the Technical University of Braunschweig. The system consists of 950 solar modules with a total output of 285 kWp. In the university's own power grid, 100% of the electricity generated is consumed by the university itself. Until now, Lower Saxony has hardly used its state-owned buildings to generate solar energy.
