Stock Photo - 24 September 2021, Saxony, Plauen: An employee of Binz Automotive Sachsen GmbH in Plauen works on a vehicle for the German Federal Agency for Technical Relief (THW). The Thuringian vehicle manufacturer Binz currently employs 90 people at its new plant in the Vogtland region, including eight trainees. At the moment, 149 special vehicles are being manufactured for the THW, followed by vehicles for the Berlin police and the Saxon police. Binz Ambulance- und Umwelttechnik GmbH, based in Ilmenau, took over the MAN Bus Modification Center and its employees in April of this year, thus saving the tradition-rich site in Plauen from final closure.
