The Legal Affairs Committee of the Bundesrat has approved a motion introduced by the state of Brandenburg to add the use of automated number plate reading systems (KESY) in recording mode to the Federal Government's current draft law on the further development of the Code of Criminal Procedure and the amendment of other regulations.
