Stock Photo - 25 January 2021, Palestinian Territories, Al-Shati: A picture made available on 26 January 2021 shows Palestinian congenital amputee Yusef Abu Omaira taking notes on his laptop at his home before heading to his karate training session at Al-Mashtal Club for Martial Arts in Gaza City, where he trains three times a week, one hour at a time. Abu Omaira, 24, was born without legs or arms, a condition known as congenital amputation. Despite his disability, Abu Omaira decided to pick up karate so that he could defend himself, while he also dreams of taking part in international tournaments and entering The Guinness Book of Records for jumping on his side for a horizontal distance of five meters in under three seconds.
