Stock Photo - 25 July 2023, Berlin: A cup from the Kurland series is partially covered with lacquer by employee Bennet Draeger at the Königliche Porzellan-Manufaktur Berlin to create an unglazed background. Porcelain has been handcrafted at KPM Berlin for 260 years. More than 200 employees currently work on the ""Handmade in Berlin"" design at the manufactory founded by Frederick the Great. It takes 29 working steps, carried out in 14 working days by 25 manufactory workers, to produce a white porcelain cup with the KPM Berlin claim. With 10 quality controls, each object is sorted by hand. Photo: Jens Kalaene/dpa. - Berlin/Berlin/Germany
