(Aerial view with a drone) The Hoort wind farm south of Schwerin will be completed in the next few weeks. The 16 Nordex wind turbines are being erected on behalf of the operating company Loscon on the A24 motorway. The almost 200-meter-high turbines are to commence normal operation in summer and will generate around 120 million kilowatt hours of electricity a year. This is enough to supply an average of 35,000 households. The wind farm covers an area of approximately 228 hectares.
