Stock Photo - 25 September 2022, Tanzania, Arusha: Landscape above Lake Magadi on the rim of Ngorongoro Crater. The cauldron of the Ngorongoro Crater covers about 260 square kilometers. Like the other giant craters, Ngorongoro is not part of the Serengeti, but was carved out as a protected area in 1956 and declared a Conservation Area because of its habitat for the Masai. The Ngorongoro Conservation Area (NCA) was declared a Man and Biosphere Reserve in 1971 and a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1979. Photo: Soeren Stache/dpa. - Arusha/Tanzania/Tanzania
