Stock Photo - 25 September 2022, Tanzania, Arusha: Landscape on the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater. The caldera of the Ngorongoro Crater covers about 260 square kilometers. Like the other giant craters, Ngorongoro is not part of the Serengeti, but was carved out as a protected area in 1956 because of the habitat for the Masai and declared a Conservation Area. The Ngorongoro Conservation Area (NCA) was declared a Man and Biosphere Reserve in 1971 and a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1979. Photo: Soeren Stache/dpa. - Arusha/Tanzania/Tanzania
