Cucumbers, beans, potatoes and many spices, among other things, grow in beds and raised beds on an area of around 900 square meters in the community garden. There are also workshops on topics such as sustainability, gardening or dyeing with plants. In the open community gardens of the association ""Querbeet"", which have been in existence for more than 10 years, open spaces are designed into green open spaces according to ecological and sustainable principles, which anyone can visit. The work of the Leipzig-based Querbeet association was honored a few weeks ago for its social commitment in the nationwide ""startsocial"" competition.
