For four weeks now, two main traffic arteries in Darmstadt have been closed to many diesel engines and old gasoline engines due to excessive nitrogen oxide pollution. Several hundred drivers were flashed because of too high a speed in one of the two streets in the city, which were actually not allowed to drive here anymore.
