Various measuring instruments were taken on board at the Institute for Baltic Sea Research Warnemünde (IOW), which are to be released at specific positions in the Baltic Sea. The ten measuring buoys, known as Argo floats, are to provide data over long periods of time that will help to make reliable statements about the state of the Baltic Sea.
