Stock Photo - 29 July 2020, Brandenburg, Gransee: The Ruppiner Tor (r) and the passage on the left, the Waldemartor, in Gransee. In 1347 a miller's apprentice named Jacob Rehbock posed as Margrave Waldemar. Many Märkische towns, including Gransee, paid homage to the false Waldemar. After the fraud was discovered, the gates through which the false Waldemar had passed had to be walled up. It was not until 1818 that the King of Prussia, Frederick William III, allowed the ""Waldemartore"" to be walled up again. Photo: Jens Kalaene/dpa-Zentralbild/ZB. - Gransee/Brandenburg/Germany
