Stock Photo - 29 September 2020, Saxony-Anhalt, Arneburg: Employees of companies participating in the energy efficiency network ""Reginee"" (Regional Network Energy) Central Germany are reflected in a puddle of water during an inspection of the Mercer Stendal plant. The network of ten companies based in Central Germany had been founded there in the morning. The network is supported by the German Federal Association of Energy Consumers (VEA). The association has established more than 20 such networks since 2015. Their aim is to save energy and thus carbon dioxide by exchanging experience, knowledge and ideas between the companies. The measures to save energy are implemented within 4 years and their success is reviewed afterwards. For this purpose the companies of the network meet three times a year.
