To kick off the Workshop of Change, he visited VW's ""Future e-mobility Campus."" Here, the focus is on the training and further education of the company's own specialists in future fields such as electromobility, digitalization and autonomous driving. Up to 1,000 trainees and around 8,000 course participants are qualified at the training center every year. Steinmeier had recently called for more speed in Germany's modernization and a social cushioning of the far-reaching upheavals.
