Stock Photo - 31 January 2019, Saxony-Anhalt, Magdeburg: A chair with a writing tablet on which ""A. Poggenburg"" can be read stands between the seats for members of parliament. The chair is the place of the non-attached politician Andre Poggenburg. The latter refused to take a pin in the shape of a blue cornflower from the lapel of his jacket, despite a request by the vice-president of the state parliament. Poggenburg uses the blue cornflower as a symbol for his new party ""Aufbruch deutscher Patrioten"". The blue cornflower served between 1933 and 1938 in Austria as a symbol of the National Socialists who were banned there at that time.
