Stock Photo - 31 January 2019, Saxony-Anhalt, Magdeburg: The non-attached Member of Parliament Andre Poggenburg (l.) sits in the last row of the plenary hall. Despite a request by the vice-president of the state parliament, Poggenburg refused to take a pin in the shape of a blue cornflower from the lapel of his jacket. Poggenburg uses the blue cornflower as a symbol for his new party ""Aufbruch deutscher Patrioten"". The blue cornflower served between 1933 and 1938 in Austria as a symbol of the National Socialists who were banned there at that time.
