Stock Photo - 31 March 2021, Brandenburg, Heiligengrabe: The Holy Sepulchre Chapel of the Stift zum Heiligengrabe monastery with the Holy Sepulchre stands on the 22-kilometre Annenpfad pilgrimage trail in the Ostprignitz-Ruppin district. On Maundy Thursday the pilgrimage season is traditionally opened. This year, due to the Corona pandemic, it is only possible to walk the trail individually on one's own responsibility and to start in the villages of Alt Krüssow, Bölzke or Heiligengrabe. The churches in these places are open from 10 to 16 o'clock with a devotion at 12 o'clock. Saint Anne was one of the most popular saints in the late Middle Ages. According to legend, she is the mother of Mary and thus the grandmother of Jesus. Photo: Jens Kalaene/dpa-Zentralbild/ZB. - Heiligengrabe/Brandenburg/Germany
