Stock Photo - A 73.5 m long steel tube weighing 900 t is erected with the installation platform 'Svanen' at windpark Baltic 2 about 32 km north of Ruegen, Germany, 01 October 2013. The monopile will then be rammed about 35 m into the ground with a hydraulic hammer. 39 monopiles in total, manufactured by EEW Special Pipe Constructions GmbH in Rostock, will be installed at Baltic 2 in the next months.
